Our SafePet Coalition
We couldn't do all that we do without the help and support of incredible organizations throughout Ontario, Canada, the United States, and internationally. We work with charities, non-profits, foundations, and corporations to achieve our two-fold mission of pet-safekeeping and education on "the link".
Take a look below at the different groups with which we collaborate.
Pet-Friendly VAW Shelters
We support pet-friendly VAW shelters throughout Ontario by arranging and covering the costs of veterinary care for their onsite pets. Via generous funding from the Farley Foundation, we are able to help shelters like Bethesda House (Durham Region) keep their onsite pets healthy and happy.
"Community Care" Pets
Since 2023 we have been offering a pilot project for clients that wish to place their pets with family or friends, but cannot do so because of vaccine concerns, fleas, etc. SafePet Ontario arranges and covers the cost of veterinary care for these animals so that they can stay in the community with their owners.
Meaningful Corporate Support
If your business is looking to invest in a Canadian charity that has a real, measurable impact on the lives of the most vulnerable members of society, please consider partnering with SafePet Ontario.
There are a number of ways that your business can make a profound impact in the lives of survivors and their pets. If you produce pet-related products or foods, bulk in-kind donations are always welcome!

"SafePet Ontario is part of the plan that assists victims in breaking this cycle of violence by providing their pets with a safe place during this transition. As a retired police officer of 30 years, I know firsthand the impact this can have for victims of abuse, and it's why I believe in this organization and our mission so deeply."
